Michael Tepedino assumes ownership of two of the Poconos most beloved restaurant locations.

Michael Tepedino, a restaurateur with local roots firmly set in Monroe County, assumed ownership of both Liquid Restaurant & Martini Bar and Trackside Station Grill in July 2012. Michael is a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and has resided in the Stroudsburg Borough for the past 6 years. His expertise in the food service and hospitality management field was gained through his employment at Liquid Restaurant & Martini Bar, where he served as a key staff member from the minute its doors were opened.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for me,” expresses Tepedino. “I am realizing a life-long dream in purchasing these restaurants and it is only made more meaningful having acquired them from my mentor and friend Troy Nauman, from whom I learned everything about the restaurant business. I look forward to continuing the amazing tradition both Liquid and Trackside have begun in the Poconos.”

Both Liquid Restaurant & Martini Bar and Trackside Station Grill are located on Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg, PA, on the historic Dansbury Depot property. With their distinctive styles, Liquid and Trackside have each gained a rapid following among locals and tourists alike. Liquid is renowned for its impressive martini and wine selection. Additionally, Liquid has been lauded as the premier fine dining restaurant of the Poconos, featuring unique cuisine and an on-site sushi bar. Trackside boasts a family-friendly sports themed environment, with tasty pub fare on the menu. Trackside’s wall length bar has become a favorite local gathering spot, with a wide selection of beers available and premium liquors on hand for cocktails.

“I think these restaurants are amazing as they are and I plan on keeping much the same – we’ll have the same menu and the same chef,” continues Tepedino. “There are exciting plans in the works for both locations, though, that look to amplify what we already have with the goal of creating a true dining and entertainment destination.”

In Trackside, Tepedino has removed a divider wall to increase space in the restaurant floor plan in order to add a stage for the live entertainment the restaurant hosts. By using the walk-thru between the two restaurants, customers from Liquid will be able to join those in Trackside for concerts performed by local favorites such as Christian Porter.

Additional plans for the restaurants include a new delivery menu of Trackside food and sushi, a service that will be available in the Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg area starting in mid-September; expanded hours for Trackside, which will be open on Mondays for lunch starting in September; and future construction of an outdoor dining and entertainment space.

“We are also bringing back Wednesday Wing Night,” explains Tepedino. “When the Depot was here, one of my favorite memories is when the local firemen used to head over every Wednesday night for after-work for wings. I want Trackside to be their new home for Wing Night, so I’ve brought it back with 35 cent wings and $6 pitchers of domestic beer starting every Wednesday at 5 pm.”

With a passion for food and his home town, Tepedino couldn’t be more pleased as he looks to the future as owner of Liquid and Trackside.

“Ever since I was a child, owning a restaurant is what I wanted to do,” sums up Tepedino. “It’s a dream come true, and I couldn’t have wished for anything better than Trackside and Liquid in making the dream a reality.
